Marmalade & Conserves
6 products in collection
The way we see it, marmalade and conserves should be full-bodied in flavour and texture. Our Owd Owthorpe variety is named after the village that was once home to Colonel John Hutchinson who, in 1663, was incarcerated in the Tower of London, accused of being linked to a treasonous plot. Historical records show that when he set off from the family seat on his final journey to London he took with him a pot of marmalade to eat on route. No mention of bread or butter though.
