How does it taste
A Full-Bodied English Orange Marmalade. This full-bodied marmalade is thickly cut to maintain the intensity of flavour. Try it on toast or in a cake!

History
Oakham is the county town of Rutland, the smallest county in Britain. But although small, it packs a punch well above its weight, just like this marmalade.
This marmalade is more sweet in nature than one of Oakham's famous residents, one Titus Oates. A famous religious cleric of Oakham who was a fantisit and born liar. He once invented a Popish Plot and Catholic conspiracy to kill King Charles II, which was born out of the grudge he held after being expelled from the Catholic church. It was totally fictitious but widely believed. This conspiracy was made up between 1678 and 1681 and it gripped the kingdom in anti-Catholic hysteria, that caused the death of innocent people. However, he got his comeuppance when he was tried for purgery in 1685 where Lord Chief Justice Jeffreyes called him "A shame to mankind".
Maybe Titus Oates would have been less bitter in his rantings if he'd have been able to fall back on a full-bodied English marmalade with his toast, named after his hometown!
