Barnstone Seville and Chocolate Brownie




  1. Preheat the oven to 150C/ gas mark 2
  2. Put the butter and chocolate into a saucepan, and on a low heat stir until melted and glossy
  3. Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine the eggs and sugar and whisk with an electric mixer until pale and creamy, this should take a few minuets
  4. Add the marmalade and whisk well, scrape the bottom of the bowl a few times to make sure it’s fully combined
  5. Fold in the flour then carefully whisk the chocolate mixture until combined and smooth
  6. Pour the mixture into a baking tray (20×20cm) lined with baking paper
  7. Cook in the middle of the oven for about 45 – 50 minuets or until the skewer comes out clean
  8. Once cooked remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 – 10 minuets and transfer onto a wired rack. Once completely cooled, slice into equal portions, dust with icing sugar and serve
