Barnstone Seville and Chocolate Brownie
Ingredients:
- 260g Dark Chocolate 70% cocoa
- 150g Unsalted Butter
- 5 Free Range Eggs
- 230g Caster Sugar
- 230g Barnstone Bitter and Twisted Marmalade
- 80g Plain Flour
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 150C/ gas mark 2
- Put the butter and chocolate into a saucepan, and on a low heat stir until melted and glossy
- Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine the eggs and sugar and whisk with an electric mixer until pale and creamy, this should take a few minuets
- Add the marmalade and whisk well, scrape the bottom of the bowl a few times to make sure it’s fully combined
- Fold in the flour then carefully whisk the chocolate mixture until combined and smooth
- Pour the mixture into a baking tray (20×20cm) lined with baking paper
- Cook in the middle of the oven for about 45 – 50 minuets or until the skewer comes out clean
- Once cooked remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 – 10 minuets and transfer onto a wired rack. Once completely cooled, slice into equal portions, dust with icing sugar and serve
